Located on the Royal Promenade level, replacing the traditional Champagne Bar, the Bionic Bar is more than just a place for drinks; it’s an interactive attraction that’s incredibly cool and absolutely worth experiencing, even during peak hours.

When dining in the Main Dining Room, you can choose between “My Time Dining,” which offers flexible dinner times between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM, allowing you to tailor your meals around your daily activities, or “Set-Time Dining,” where you enjoy dinner at either 6:00 PM or 8:30 PM with the same table, company, and attentive waitstaff each evening. I enthusiastically recommend trying the filet in The Grande – it’s absolutely divine!

Specialty Dining – Elevated Experiences

For those seeking an extra special meal, a variety of specialty restaurants are available for an additional fee. These include the whimsical Wonderland, an imaginative dining experience that tantalizes all the senses, the authentic Izumi Hibachi and Sushi, the vibrant Sabor Taqueria and Tequila Bar, and for dinner, an expanded menu at Solarium Bistro. Coffee lovers will rejoice at the presence of Starbucks on the Boardwalk. For classic steakhouse fare, Chops Grille offers premium cuts, while 150 Central Park provides an upscale, seasonal menu. Casual American favorites can be found at Johnny Rockets, and the ever-popular Jamie’s Italian, which first debuted on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum-class ships, offers rustic Italian dishes – it’s one of my personal favorites! During my sailing, I was even fortunate enough to meet and speak with Miami celebrity chef Michael Schwartz, the culinary mastermind behind 150 Central Park on Harmony of the Seas, as well as Michael’s Genuine Pub on Anthem of the Seas. If you ever find yourself in Miami, I highly recommend visiting one of his many acclaimed restaurants.

Held during the second preview cruise, godmother Brittany Affolter officially christened the ship by triggering the ceremonial smashing of a giant champagne bottle against its hull. Although I was on the first preview sailing and watched the momentous occasion unfold via Facebook Live, the excitement and grandeur were palpable, making me feel as though I was right there in person. Cruise Director Ken Rush perfectly encapsulated the ship’s essence during the ceremony, proudly proclaiming the Harmony of the Seas as “Bigger, Bolder, Better.” These words resonate deeply with the overall experience.

From the moment I stepped aboard, the service was nothing short of exceptional. Every crew member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring a phenomenal guest experience. The ship itself was impeccably clean, and the staterooms were comfortable and well-appointed, offering a true sense of a home away from home. Harmony of the Seas is an outstanding choice for everyone, from first-time cruisers to seasoned sea-farers, delivering a remarkable blend of luxury, adventure, and relaxation.
